Qualifications

Dr. Gaurav Das holds a Ph.D. from Mizoram University with research focused on sustainability and livelihood management in Manas National Park. He has dual postgraduate qualifications—MBA (Marketing & Finance) and M.Com—along with a B.Com degree from Gauhati University. He is UGC-NET qualified and has additional certification in AI in Marketing. His academic journey reflects strong interdisciplinary expertise in management, sustainability, and tourism research.

About

Dr. Gaurav Das is an Assistant Professor (Senior) in the Department of Management at Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati, Assam. He brings 15 years of teaching experience and 5 years of research experience, with extensive academic and administrative experience.

Previously, he served as Assistant Professor and Head of Department at Pragjyotish College from 2009 to 2024. His research interests include mindful marketing, tourism marketing, entrepreneurship, and sustainable marketing.

He has completed a 45-day residential Faculty Development Programme on Pedagogy and Research Methods at IIM Ahmedabad in 2023. His academic contributions include research publications, book chapters, textbooks, student mentoring, and research guidance.
