This module focuses on academic writing structure, manuscript organization, and preparation of research papers according to journal standards.
Participants will understand how to structure a research manuscript, including title, abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references. The module will also highlight common writing mistakes and ways to improve clarity, flow, and academic presentation.
Scopus Journal Identification & Selection
This module guides participants on how to identify suitable Scopus-indexed journals and avoid unsuitable or misleading publication platforms.
Participants will learn how to search, verify, and shortlist Scopus-indexed journals based on subject area, scope, indexing status, publication timeline, quality indicators, and journal guidelines. The module will also explain the importance of selecting the right journal for improving publication chances.
Publication Ethics & Submission Strategies
This module covers ethical publication practices, plagiarism awareness, authorship ethics, and practical strategies for manuscript submission.
Participants will understand key aspects of publication ethics, including plagiarism, duplicate submission, authorship responsibility, citation ethics, and ethical journal practices. The module will also cover submission planning, journal guidelines, cover letters, reviewer comments, and strategies to handle revision or rejection.
